Who we are

Death by Post is a trading name of GoodSign Limited, a New Zealand company (company number 1493236, NZBN 9429035480631) at 2 Stuart Street, Ponsonby, Auckland 1011. When you buy from this site, your contract is with GoodSign Limited.

Our games

Each Death by Post case is a printed murder mystery game posted to you, with some audio evidence online. The cases are fiction, and any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental. They're designed for ages 14 and up.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Postage is shown before you pay.
• Payment is taken by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Your statement will show the GoodSign name.
• If a price on the site is wrong, we'll tell you before sending your order, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Your order

Your order is accepted once payment goes through and you see the confirmation page, and we email you a receipt. If we can't send your order for any reason, we'll refund you in full.

Delivery

• We deliver within New Zealand only.
• Postage is NZ$7 by tracked post, and free on orders over NZ$100.
• We post within two working days. Most orders arrive two to five working days after that. These times are estimates.

Returns and faulty items

Because a mystery can't be unsolved once the envelope is open, we don't offer refunds or returns if you change your mind. If your case arrives damaged, has something missing, is faulty, or doesn't arrive, tell us and we'll send a replacement at no cost, or refund you if we can't. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Online evidence

Some evidence is reached by QR code and hosted on this site. We intend to keep it online. If you ever can't reach it, contact us and we'll help.

Using the case materials

The cases, artwork and audio are copyright GoodSign Limited. They're for playing with your own group. Please don't copy, resell or publish them, and keep the solutions off the internet so other players can enjoy them.

Our responsibility

Apart from your rights under New Zealand consumer law, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
